Salvation Army - 10English - Critical Literacy

What do the words suggest?
In the Salvation Army pamphlet, the cover has a title that says "Help Keep The Lights On This Winter" which suggest that there are people in need and doesn't have the stuff we have and get the privileged to experience the stuff that we do. It proposes that we should help these types of family.
We could help them by giving up some of our time and donating some of the stuff we don't need to charity, like The Salvation Army. We could also donate a little bit of money or canned foods.
What does the author of this text want us to know?
The author of the text wants us to know that the Salvation Army is there to help families in need.
They have been helping people for a long time and that people in need can go to them. They have helped over 120,000 families and individuals each year. They care for people and will always be there for them.

  1. Great work Nino. You've provided excellent detail in both questions and shown a great understanding of the ad. Re-read the answer to your first question, there's a few grammar mistakes.

  2. Hi Nino, I like that you added images so people know what you're talking about. It's really easy to understand what your with the images there. Next maybe you can do the right amount of questions.
