Meal Plate
Explain the purpose of the activity?
To understand what we need for our food intake and how we can balance out what proteins and vitamins we need.
What you made and how it relates to the dinner plate model?
We made some mince and sausages for fats which can give you energy it also has carbohydrates and it will help you grow.
We added some vegetables which are beans, corns, carrots, lettuce and eggplant which gives you loads of protein and vitamins.
We also have mashed potato which gives you fibre which can help lower your cholesterol.
How it relates to the dinner plate is that we have meat on one side which helps us grow our muscles and we have vegetables on one side to give us proteins and vitamins and balance out the plate.
